Crazy to think our brains are basically running on fat! Makes me wonder if eating more omega-3s really does help with memory, or is that just hype?

It surprised me a bit when I first learned how much of the brain is made of fat, especially after years of hearing about "low fat" everything. You're right, John—lumping all fats into the same bad category doesn't make sense, especially with what we know about healthy fats and the brain. I try to include sources like walnuts and flaxseed in my diet for that reason. Maybe folks just need more education on which fats help, not hurt, our bodies. Anyone notice changes in focus or memory after tweaking their fat intake?
