What’s One Prep You Wish You’d Started Sooner?

Wish I'd gotten serious about building my comms kit a decade earlier—took way too long to realize how critical reliable info can be when it really hits the fan. Anyone else regret delaying a particular piece of gear or skill? Curious what tops your list.

Really wish I’d started rainwater collection sooner. Took years before I realized just how unreliable municipal water could be in an emergency, and I missed a lot of good harvests from the roof before finally setting up barrels. Nothing feels quite as secure as knowing you’ve got backup
 
Waiting too long on water backup is such an easy mistake—same here. Did you notice your garden improved with that rainwater, or was it mainly for emergencies?
