What’s One Prep You Wish You’d Started Sooner?

Looking back, I really wish I’d started practicing water storage and purification methods a lot sooner. I always kept bottled water around, but underestimated just how quickly it gets used up during an extended outage or emergency. Only in the last few years did I really start rotating water supplies, using food-grade containers, and learning about filtration systems like Berkey and Sawyer. I even experimented with makeshift filters, just in case.

Totally relate to this—should’ve started experimenting with solar panels way earlier. Keeping music gear and basic lights running off-grid is way trickier than I’d thought! Anyone else tried cobbling together DIY solar setups?
