Edge retention’s been really solid for me, even after some rough use in the garden and around camp. Ever tried it for splitting kindling, or is that pushing it?

That’s really encouraging to hear about the edge retention, especially since I end up using my knives for everything from slicing kindling to opening stubborn food packages. The ceramic ball-bearing pivot sounds almost luxurious for a tool at this price point—makes flipping it open less of a chore and more of a pleasure. Have you noticed any issues with grit or dirt messing up the action over time? I take mine into some pretty dusty spots, so that’s always in the back of my mind.
