Seeing that urban garden photo got me thinking about how much potential is hiding in plain sight. There’s something powerful about a tomato vine curling up a rusty old fence or green shoots pushing through cracked pavement. Whenever I visit the city, I always keep an eye out for those little pockets of life—reminds me a lot of old stories where folks survived on what seemed like nothing at first glance.

We started a couple of raised beds last year right on the edge of our driveway. Took some old wood pallets and built them up, filled 'em with compost, and even managed a half-decent carrot harvest. Not the prettiest, but man did they taste good. It’s wild how a bit of dirt and patience can give you a whole new perspective on what’s possible.

Would love to see how folks are dealing with tiny spaces—window
