What’s the One Prep You’d Never Go Without?

If I had to narrow it down to one, my go-to prep would be a quality water filtration system. It's surprising how quickly water sources can become compromised, whether by natural disaster, infrastructure failure, or simple contamination. I keep a gravity-fed filter in the house and lightweight Sawyer
 
For me it’s always a solid first aid kit, stocked up with herbal tinctures and ointments I make myself. You never know when you’ll need to treat a bad cut, infection, or stomach issue—especially if help is far away. Even a small burn or bite can turn serious fast without the right supplies. Anyone else make their own herbal remedies for emergencies?
 
My must-have is a good hand-crank radio with weather alerts and a small solar panel. After a rough tornado season left us without power or cell service, being able to get updates was a real lifesaver. Water and first aid are critical, but when you don’t even know what’s happening out there, it’s easy to make bad calls. Anyone found a radio that actually holds up over the long haul?
