What’s The One Prep You’d Never Go Without?

If you could only pick one item or skill as absolutely essential in your kit, what would it be? I keep coming back to water purification, but maybe I’m missing something crucial. Curious what tops your list and why.

First aid skills top my list every time. Tools and gear are great, but knowing how to stop a bleed or treat a burn is something you can’t lose or run out of. Even in the wild, a simple injury can turn serious fast if you’re not ready. Water’s vital too, but if you get hurt and can’t
