That first false headline about goats running for city council nearly got me, just because around here you never know what’ll happen in local politics! Plausible enough to make me laugh and second-guess myself. I guess when you spend enough time growing herbs and talking to tomatoes, anything seems possible. John, I’d say the trickier they get, the more fun this game is—makes me rethink what passes for “credible news” these days!

That goat headline nearly took me out too—wouldn’t surprise me after that time they elected a cat as mayor in some small town! It’s amazing how much truth can sound like a prank these days. I agree, John, the more outlandish they get, the harder it is to separate fact from fiction. Maybe next time
