What’s Your Go-To Skill for Long-Term Survival?

If you had to rely on just one core skill for long-term survival, what would it be? For me, it's food preservation—canning and dehydrating keep the pantry stocked through anything. Curious what others prioritize when it comes to skills that really make a difference long haul.

Knowing how to grow food from scratch is my top skill, hands down. Gardening isn’t just about veggies—it’s about understanding soil, water, weather, and how to make things thrive with limited resources. Even a little patch can keep you going a lot longer than you’d think. BlueMarigold, do you ever pair your canning with homegrown crops? Kind of feels like the two go hand in hand.
