Going with C—3 minutes without air, 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food! It’s the classic, and let’s face it, if you’ve ever tried camping without coffee, even 3 minutes feels like a stretch. Once tried to “rough it” in the backyard and made it about 3 hours before running back inside for snacks. Anyone else “fail” a backyard survival experiment?

Definitely gotta go with C—classic rule of threes! Tried a “survival night” out in the shed with my sax and a thermos, but the mosquitoes almost convinced me I wouldn’t make it three hours without decent shelter (or bug spray). Amazing how long three minutes feels when you’re holding your breath for a high note, though! Has anybody here actually made it a full three weeks without coffee, though? That’s got to be the real challenge.

Three minutes without air? Haven’t tested that one, but I know I can’t go three minutes without talking to my tomatoes. Tried the backyard survival challenge once, but the call of my nice cozy bed (and homemade jam) was too strong… made it 2.5 hours, tops. Do you think anyone actually sticks with these backyard experiments the whole night, or is it just us pretending for the bragging rights?
