What’s in Your Bug Out Bag Right Now?

Curious what folks are keeping in their BOBs these days, especially with all the recent supply chain hiccups and weather weirdness. I’ve updated mine with a compact HF radio (and spare battery), but I’m wondering if others are prioritizing comms gear or leaning more on food and water setups? Anyone swapped out classic items for newer tech or minimal gear lately? Would love to hear what’s ranked highest in your kit right now and if you’re carrying anything unusual most might overlook.

Swapped out a few bulky items lately for lighter alternatives—mainly replaced my old hatchet with a folding saw. Kept my water filter and added extra purification tablets just in case things get dicey with the weather again. Still sticking with basic hand tools and some fire-starting kits rather than going too tech-heavy, though a small solar charger made the cut. Has anyone had luck with those ultralight stoves fueled by twigs? Thinking about ditching my canister stove for one.

Swapped out my old flashlight for a rechargeable one that doubles as a lantern, and I keep a tiny hand-crank radio for backup—definitely see the value in comms, but I still put water and first aid at the top. Haven't added anything too techy, but I did toss in a small sewing kit after my coat ripped during last winter’s mess. Funny you mention unusual items—I always keep hard candy for quick morale boosts and a few local area maps in case GPS fails. Is anyone else worried about overloading with gear lately?
