Always amazed how a single picture can lift the spirit! That bloom made me think of the first time my lilacs survived a rough frost—felt like a personal victory. Spring flowers really do remind us there’s life and color waiting just under the soil, even when we’re knee-deep in winter’s challenges.

Found some joy last week taking a photo of my rows of canned tomatoes stacked in the cellar. Not exactly as photogenic as a garden in full bloom, but there’s a quiet beauty in the order and what it represents—hard work and some peace of mind. Anyone else get as much satisfaction out of a stocked pantry as a well-kept garden?
