Best Compact Tools for Car Emergency Kits?

Looking to streamline my car emergency kit—what compact tools do you all find truly essential? Space is tight, but I want solid gear (multitools, micro jumpstarters, etc). Any recommendations for something durable that actually holds up under stress?

Been impressed with the Leatherman Wave for multitool needs—sturdy, not too bulky. Anyone tried those mini tire inflators? Worth the space, or unreliable when you actually need 'em?
 
Those mini tire inflators can be hit or miss—mine saved me once, but I still keep a sturdy hand pump just in case. Anyone had luck with the compact folding shovels?
