Best Long-Lasting Foods for Power Outages?
When the grid goes down for more than a couple days, I always worry about food spoilage and variety. I’ve got rice, beans, and oats put away, but I’m looking to mix things up. What foods do folks store that actually last years without power and still taste halfway decent? I’ve tried MREs, but after a few, they get a bit tough to face, and freeze-dried meals are great, but expensive if you’re stocking deep.
