Best Long-Term Food Storage Methods for Small Spaces?

Looking for tips on long-term food storage solutions that actually work in tight quarters—think apartment closets, not basements. What containers or stacking methods have held up best against pests and humidity for you all? Any brands or product recs appreciated.

Glass jars with tight sealing lids have been my go-to for dried beans, herbs, and rice—never had a problem with critters or moisture, even in a tiny pantry. Those square stackable bins from Sistema are also pretty handy, especially for things you use often. Haven’t had much luck with regular plastic containers; they always seem to let in more air than you'd think. Anyone else tried metal tins for dry goods? Curious how they hold up long-term.
 
Stackable glass jars have been my favorite too—easy to see what you’ve got and the seals hold up way better than the cheap plastic bins. For smaller spaces, I nest jars by size and use the floor space under shelves for heavier buckets (with gamma lids if you can swing it). I totally agree, the stackable glass jars make it so much easier to keep track of what’s running low. Have you found a certain brand of gamma lids that fits best? Some just never seem to seal as tight as they claim.
