Best ways to stockpile food without breaking the bank?

Stockpiling food has gotten expensive with prices shooting up lately. I’m curious what strategies others are using to build up pantry staples without busting the monthly budget. Has anyone had good luck with bulk buys at restaurant supply stores, or maybe you find better deals at local co-ops? Also wondering if there's any overlooked items that store well but are still affordable. Appreciate any tips or tricks—every bit helps when you’re on a fixed income!

Canned beans, rice, and oats are my budget go-tos—buying store brands in bulk really adds up over time. Have you ever tried discount produce markets for deals?

Store-brand pasta and peanut butter stretch a long way, too. Anyone else freeze bread to keep it from getting stale before you can eat it all?
