C is my pick—stand your ground and make a whole lotta noise! I read somewhere most critters (and maybe even some humans) are more scared of us than we are of them, unless we’re waving a sandwich in their face. Once tried yelling at a raccoon raiding my tomatoes—think we both scared each other into a sprint. Anyone ever actually tried climbing a tree in a panic? I’d probably get stuck halfway up!
