"I’m here at the museum right now, and I just wanna show you guys that Annabelle is in the Warrens’ Occult Museum," Dan said in his video. "Let’s go inside and let’s check."
In the video, you can see Annabelle sitting safely in her wooden box. She is not missing at all!
Dan also said, "Annabelle is not missing; she’s not in Chicago." He explained that Annabelle will be at a special event in Illinois in October 2025.
To make sure everyone knew the truth, NESPR posted on Facebook. They wrote: "It’s a Rumor... Annabelle has NOT been stolen. The doll is safely in place at the Warren Occult Museum."
This was not the first time people thought Annabelle was gone. Five years ago, Tony Spera, who is Ed and Lorraine Warren’s son-in-law, talked about it too.
"I'm here to tell you something," Tony said in a YouTube video in 2020. "Annabelle did not escape. Annabelle's here. She didn’t go anywhere. She didn’t take a trip. She didn’t fly first class and she didn’t go out to visit her boyfriend. I’d be concerned if Annabelle really did leave because she's nothing to play with."
Why Not Destroy Annabelle?
Some people think, “Why not just get rid of the doll?” But Lorraine Warren, who passed away in 2019, said that would not work.
She explained in 2014, "Getting rid of the doll would only get rid of the vessel, not the evil that resides within the doll."
She also said: "At least as it sits, we know where it resides. It isn’t out into the world causing harm to others. We have a Catholic priest who performs a binding prayer around the doll which acts as a blockade. The evil can’t penetrate the holy prayers that bind it. Think of it as similar to an electric-dog fence — keeping the dog within set boundaries."
So, the best thing is to keep Annabelle locked up and safe. That way, no bad things can happen.

The Real Conjuring House
Did you know that some scary movies are based on real stories? The Conjuring movie is one of them. Many people did not know this when the movie first came out in 2013.
The real Conjuring house is in Harrisville, Rhode Island. Ed and Lorraine Warren were real people who hunted ghosts. Lorraine even helped make the movie.
The house in the movie is called The Harrisville Farmhouse. The Perron family moved there in 1971. Since the movie came out, many people have wanted to see the haunted house.
Some ghost hunters visited the house. They made a two-hour movie about it called "Ghost Adventures: Curse Of The Harrisville Farmhouse." It was shown on TV for Halloween in 2019.

Strange Things Happen at the Farmhouse
Zak Bagans is the host of Ghost Adventures. He said he felt really strange while filming at the house.
"It was just weird energy. Not normal. Not like we’ve felt before," Zak said.
After filming, Zak said he was sick for three weeks. He told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: "I was extremely ill, very sick, for about three weeks after [filming]. I wasn’t myself, albeit I was on a long trip. There were things going on with me that just seemed out of the norm. It really, I believe, made me sick. I had anxiety and panic levels that were just so unusual. Just that feeling of sickness. I didn’t look like myself. I didn’t feel like myself. I didn’t wanna be around anybody."
He said he did not feel like he was possessed, but something strange happened. "I felt like something was drawing the life out of me," Zak said.

The Case of the Missing Husband
Now, here is a sad story from Illinois. Jennifer Maedge could not find her husband, Richard. In April 2022, Jennifer came home and saw Richard’s car, but Richard was not there.
On April 27, Richard was reported missing. The police searched the house but could not find him. They noticed a strange smell in the house. Even a plumber came to fix it.
The police called the house a “hoarder home.” That means there were piles of stuff everywhere. Still, the police did not find Richard.
The missing person report said Richard was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt. Jennifer and her son Austin talked to police and tried to help.
Many months went by. Then, in December, Jennifer went looking for Christmas decorations. She opened a closet she almost never used. Inside, she found Richard’s body.
What the Police Found
The police said Richard’s body was mummified when Jennifer found him. Mummified means the body was dried out. The police did not think anyone hurt him. The coroner said Richard died by suicide.
Coroner Steve Nonn explained: “The area in the concealed room was only big enough for one person to occupy it. Upon opening the door to the concealed storage area, she would then find the decedent’s body and called 9-1-1. There were no other injuries found during the autopsy examination or evidence found that would indicate anything nefarious regarding Mr. Maedge's death."
Jennifer was very sad, but she thanked the police for their help. She said: "Even though we didn't want the outcome that we had, it's still an outcome that we can put him to rest."

The Scary Poem from the 28 Years Later Movie
Many people are talking about a new scary movie called "28 Years Later." The trailer, or preview, for the movie uses a very creepy poem. This poem is called "Boots," and it was written by Rudyard Kipling in 1903.
