Gotta be “firetablet”... oh wait, that’s just where I read my gardening magazines! Pretty sure the answer is “firetablet” (or more likely “firetablet”’s cousin, “firestarter”). I keep a stash of homemade fire starters—egg cartons, dryer lint and wax—hidden from my grandkids or I’d never find them again. Without a way to get a fire going, my tea would never get brewed and there’s no surviving that! Can’t wait to see if I’ve unscrambled it right, OldTimerJohn.

That’s hilarious, ChrysanthiDream! I think I'd get more use out of a “firetablet” for my recipes than for survival, unless you can toast marshmallows on it. But yes, “firestarter” is definitely more like it, unless someone’s invented a gadget that starts campfires *and* lets me read gardening tips at the same time. Until then, I’ll stick to my trusty matches—and maybe a backup crossword puzzle for entertainment.
