Disturbing Footage Reveals Livestreamer's Tortuous Ordeal Prior to His Demise
The world of live streaming was left in shock after the unsettling demise of a well-known personality, Jean Pormanove. His real name was Raphaël Graven and he was notorious for engaging in extreme and dangerous challenges on the internet. His lifeless body was discovered in his residence in Contes, a quaint village located to the north of Nice.
Pormanove, who was 46, tragically passed away during a live broadcast one Sunday evening. The nature of his death has sparked outrage and shock among viewers and the broader community.
A Tragic End After Continuous Brutality
Clara Chappaz, a high-ranking official in the French government, expressed her horror at the circumstances of Pormanove's death. She condemned the months-long humiliation and violence that he had to endure, describing it as an "absolute horror".
Reports from several social media users suggest that Pormanove's livestream abruptly ended after he had been subjected to 10 days of intense physical brutality, sleep deprivation, and the consumption of harmful substances.
Pormanove's broadcasts on a popular live streaming platform included a disturbing array of content. This ranged from sessions of humiliation to instances of appalling violence. Pormanove often took part in these extreme challenges with fellow livestreamers, Naruto and Safine, both of whom were arrested in January on allegations of committing violent acts against vulnerable individuals.
Shocking Footage Leaves Viewers Appalled
Footage streamed on the platform showed Pormanove being choked, force-fed while restrained, and having various objects hurled at him. Viewers were left aghast at the inhumane treatment Pormanove was subjected to.
One particularly distressing video that has since emerged features a group of Pormanove's acquaintances choking him on a livestream. This shocking footage has left viewers horrified.
"This isn't a prank. It's as if they were trying to murder him, and it seems they have succeeded," commented one viewer.
Another viewer expressed their shock at the fact that this kind of content was available on a mainstream streaming platform and not on the dark web. They compared the disturbing content to a snuff film, asserting that it was wholly inappropriate for general viewing.
Platform's Response to the Tragedy
In response to the tragic incident, a representative from the platform where Pormanove's videos were streamed stated that the company was swiftly reviewing the circumstances surrounding the streamer's death.
"We are deeply saddened by the demise of Jean Pormanove and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and community," they said.
