🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
August 31, 2025

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Despite Advances in Technology, 80% of Americans Remain Unprepared for Natural Disasters"
B. "State-Wide Bans on Plastic Straws Lead to Increase in Emergency Preparedness"
C. "New Study Reveals Cats are More Likely to Survive Disasters Than Dogs Due to Superior Preparedness Instincts"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Gotta go with A on this one—seems like every year there’s another survey claiming most folks still don’t have a flashlight, let alone a three-day water supply stashed away. B is hilarious though, like banning straws suddenly made everyone

Has to be A! Every time there’s a new poll, the numbers are just embarrassing—folks don’t even have extra batteries, let alone a plan. Can’t stop laughing at C, though. My cat may survive anything, but only because she’d eat my emergency snacks AND sleep on the flashlight. Anyone actually switch to prepping because of a straw ban? That’d be a first!
