Fermenting has been my go-to for ages—sauerkraut, kimchi, pickled beans, you name it. It’s simple, doesn’t need electricity, and adds a lot of flavor too. Dehydrating with sun or a solar dryer works well for herbs and fruits, just takes patience. Ever tried root cellaring? I’m curious how folks keep things cool enough in hotter climates.
