What’s the Most Overlooked Prep Item in Your Kit?
Every time I go through my emergency supplies, I notice folks tend to focus on the big-ticket items—water filtration, food storage, first aid—but there’s always something small that gets forgotten. For me, it’s always spare eyeglasses. I’ve only got the one pair I wear daily, and I’m betting a lot of others are in the same boat. If they break or go missing in a crisis, suddenly reading instructions or checking supplies becomes a real challenge.
I’m curious what everyone else thinks is the most overlooked item in their preps? Not just the obvious consumables or gear, but those little things that would really trip you up if you didn’t have them when you needed them. Would love to hear what’s been a blind spot for others.
