What’s Your Most Overlooked Prep Item?

Seems like everyone talks about water, food, and first aid, but what about overlooked gear? For me, it's extra instrument strings—I know, sounds niche, but music keeps morale up. Also, I rarely see folks mention repair adhesives (like JB Weld or Sugru) for fixes that duct tape can't handle. What items do you always include that most people forget? Curious what tiny things might make a big difference in a pinch.

Spare reading glasses are my big overlooked item—can’t do much if I can’t see what I’m doing! I also stash little sewing kits everywhere, not just for clothes, but for gear repairs (even fishing if you’re desperate). Folks forget how fast things can break down, especially zippers and straps. Anyone else keep herbal salves or tinctures on hand? They’ve saved my skin, literally, more than once.
