If the grid went down tomorrow, what’s the ONE prep you’d grab first? For me, it’s got to be my gravity-fed water filter. Curious if folks here prioritize comms, heat, or something else as their first item—what’s your pick and why?

Water filter is a great call, honestly can’t imagine doing without clean water. My first grab would probably be my solar lanterns, though. Light gives me comfort at night and helps with a ton of things—reading, cooking, even just finding my way around safely. Curious if anyone’s figured out a reliable way to recharge batteries if the outage goes on for months?
