Been going over my bug out bag again and started thinking about what I might be missing that isn’t obvious. Everyone talks about knives and fire starters, but what are the most overlooked items you all pack? For me, I realized I never had spare eyeglasses until last year—total game changer if you have vision issues. Curious if anyone’s got underrated gear they swear by, especially for those of us into off-grid setups.

Can’t tell you how many folks forget a good pair of tweezers. Might sound minor, but you get a splinter or tick out in the woods and you’ll wish you had them. I also stash a few packets of oral rehydration salts—dehydration sneaks up fast if you’re stressed or moving a lot. Anyone pack small sewing kits anymore, or is that just me being old-fashioned?
