If zombies come knocking, is it the person with the slowest bug-out bag who checks the door, or do you send the one who still believes it’s just the neighbor borrowing sugar? Curious who gets volunteered at your place—oldest, youngest, or whoever loses rock-paper-scissors?

Definitely not the oldest over here—I've earned my right to sit out any zombie door duties! Usually it’s whoever’s closest to the door, but sometimes we threaten to make it whoever left their gardening gloves out. Rock-paper-scissors could work, but I have a sneaky suspicion the youngest in our house practiced all the hand tricks. BlueSkyWanderer, maybe the real answer is whoever yells “Not it!” the fastest?
