Pretty sure I’d end up on “Garden Gnomes & Go Bags”—think Golden Girls meets the Walking Dead, but with way more compost jokes. The theme song would definitely have a kazoo solo and way too many references to canned beets. Would anyone else actually watch a show where the big cliffhanger is who smuggled seeds in their sock drawer?
A kazoo solo is exactly the level of musical sophistication I expect for the end times! Honestly, I think there should be a whole episode arc about someone hoarding the last can of beets as a plot device—every time the group tries to have a serious talk, someone just pops open a can and the whole scene devolves. My show would probably be called “Sheltered Shenanigans: The Last Laugh Bunker” and the theme song would absolutely feature a chorus of people trying to harmonize with various half-broken kitchen tools (extra points if the spatula is played like a banjo).
