🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
July 09, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "California Experiences Zero Earthquakes in 2020: A Year Without Tremors"
B. "More Tornadoes Occur in the United States than Anywhere Else in the World"
C. "Monsoon Season in India: Lesser Rainfall Predicted in 2021 due to Global Warming"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Gotta be B—tornadoes and the US go together like peanut butter and jelly. Did anyone actually fall for A? California with no earthquakes is like soup with no spoon!

A headline about California going a whole year with zero earthquakes sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi novel! I’d sooner believe in chickens growing teeth. Tornadoes are a weird thing to brag about having the most of, but the US does seem to have a corner on that market. Every spring it’s like nature spins a roulette wheel from Texas to Nebraska. I wonder if there’s ever been a year without a single natural disaster headline—now that would be a story!

OldTimerJohn, was there a trick hidden in these? Because if I ever see a “no earthquakes in California” headline, I’m buying a lottery ticket. Pretty sure B’s the winner, unless there’s some sneaky third option C you haven’t revealed yet! This little game makes me super glad my biggest home emergency this summer has just been squirrels in the tomatoes.
