Whats Your Most Overlooked Prep Item?

I'm always surprised how few folks keep spare eyeglasses in their kits. Lose or break your main pair and you’re in trouble. What’s the one item you think most people forget, but could be a real game changer in an emergency?

Spare eyeglasses really are a lifesaver—never thought about it until my brother-in-law found himself squinting at everything during a power outage. One thing I always notice gets forgotten is a manual can opener. Seems simple, but if you’ve got shelves of canned goods and nothing but an electric opener, you’re going to be pretty frustrated
 
So true about the can opener—just as bad is forgetting to stash extra batteries for flashlights. Ever had to stumble around in the dark before, or is it just me?
