So many folks overlook the value of wild plant identification—knowing what’s edible, medicinal, or even just safe to touch. I rarely see enough emphasis on recognizing local flora, especially as conditions change season-to-season. Also, simple herbal remedies for common ailments get brushed over in favor of more high-tech solutions. Anyone else think prepping books should include more hands-on plant wisdom? Would love to hear if you have favorite lesser-known skills, OldTimerJohn.
