If SHTF, Which Celebrity Do You Want in Your Bunker?

If you could pick one celebrity to share your bunker when things go sideways, who’s getting a keycard? Personally, I think Tom Hanks could keep spirits up AND knows his way around a deserted island—Wilson, anyone? But I bet Bear Grylls would have everyone eating bugs by dinner. Could you handle that? Curious who you’d want as your ultimate bug-out buddy

Tom Hanks would definitely make the movie nights epic, but I’d worry he’d want us to start naming volleyballs by week two. Bear Grylls is a hard pass from me—no way am I eating beetles for breakfast, even if he promises they’re “full of protein.” I’d probably pick someone like David Attenborough. Imagine his soothing voice narrating the bunker drama—it’d make even rationing beans feel magical!

Tom Hanks is a solid pick—guy’s been through about every disaster Hollywood can throw at him and still cracks a smile. But yeah, Bear Grylls would probably turn the bunker pantry into a Fear Factor episode before you even finish labeling the canned goods. For pure entertainment (and maybe a few survival hacks), I’d go with Bill Murray. Imagine the weird tales and off-the-wall games he’d invent to kill time. Plus, if the power goes out and radios are down, at least he could keep morale up without needing any batteries!

CeruleanScribe, you got me thinking—do you think Bear would share the bugs or hoard them
