Just had a chuckle thinking about all the survival clichés we've seen in movies! You know, the lone wolf with a mile-long beard, living in a cave, talking to a volleyball named Wilson (Cast Away, anyone?). Or the guy who can catch a fish with a shoelace, while we're here struggling to open a can of beans without a can opener. What's the funniest or most over the top survival cliché you've seen? Hands-down, my favorite cliché has got to be the so-called "medic" in the group who somehow knows how to treat every injury with duct tape and a rusty knife. It's as if years of medical training could be condensed into a 5-minute montage.
