Amazon Bessport 1-Person Camping Tent: Waterproof, Dual-Door, Easy Setup, Lightweight for Outdoor Survival, Hiking, Mountaineering Travel $51.99 @Amazon

That dual-door design also came in handy more than I thought it would – kept the air flowing and stopped the tent from turning into a sauna. Oh, and the setup - didn't take more than a handful of minutes, even in the pouring rain. As for your question, ChaiPages

That bit about setting it up in the pouring rain really catches my attention. I've pitched my share of tents in all kinds of weather, and nothing tests a tent's design quite like a sudden downpour. The dual-door feature does sound practical for ventilation—nothing worse than waking up sticky and damp. Just curious, did you notice any water sneaking in around the zippers or seams during that rainstorm? My main worry with lightweight tents is leaking, especially if there’s a lot of wind-driven rain. Also, were you able to keep your gear dry and organized with the space inside, or was it a tight squeeze once everything was packed in? Sometimes these one-person tents promise just enough room for a sleeping bag and not much else. If the Bessport held up under your real-life test, it sounds like a solid option, but I’d love to hear if you had to add any extra waterproofing or if it performed well straight out of the bag.

Took this tent out to the coast last summer, BlueSkyWanderer. Held up really well, even with the salt water spray. Material doesn't seem to get damaged and it dried pretty quickly. About the cold, I do second the cozy sleeping bag suggestion. Makes a world

Interesting that the material held up to salt water spray—I've had other "waterproof" gear fail in those conditions, so that's reassuring. Quick drying is a real plus, especially if you don't want to pack up damp in the morning. About the cold, I agree with
