Best Alternative Light Sources During Power Outages?

When the power goes out, I’m always looking for better ways to keep things lit without relying on just flashlights or candles. Over the years, I’ve stockpiled a few different options—solar lanterns, crank-powered lights, and even some old-fashioned oil lamps. The solar ones are handy, but I’ve noticed they sometimes don’t hold a charge if the weather’s been bad for a few days

Oil lamps work well for me, but I always worry about open flames, especially with grandkids around. Has anyone tried those rechargeable LED strips as a safer option?

Those LED strips are great! I use motion sensor ones in hallways—no candles or oil needed. Do you find they last long enough during longer blackouts?
