Best Homegrown Veggies for Long-Term Survival: Your Top Picks?

Diving straight in with a question about food crops today. Assuming the optimal situation where we've got a solid stash of canned and preserved food, but we're also trying to supplement that by growing our own crops. Which veggies would you rate as top picks for long-term survival?

I'm talking about stuff that's nutrient-rich, fairly easy to grow, and can stand up to a bit of unpredictable weather. Potatoes are already on my list – excellent source of carbs and super versatile. Beans too, for the protein.

Any other suggestions? What's your go-to survival
