Buying from dollar stores has stretched my budget a lot—especially for basics like candles, matches, and even canned food when they’re on sale. I rotate what I store so nothing goes to waste. Thrift shops are also surprisingly good for blankets and cookware. Does anyone else keep an eye out for sales at pharmacy chains? Sometimes they have first aid stuff for next to nothing.

Rotating supplies is so key, especially with food—I've had to get creative with some older cans before. Dollar stores are hit or miss here but I’ve gotten great deals on medical tape and basic meds after checking the clearance bins at pharmacies.
