Starting from scratch in prepping can feel overwhelming given how much there is to learn. In your experience, which practical skills should a total beginner focus on first? Firestarting, water purification, basic shelter building, food preservation—there’s a lot out there. Is it better to master the basics of a few, or get a working knowledge across the board?
