Stretching a food budget has become more challenging these days, especially with prices creeping up every time I shop. For those who are prepping on social security or a fixed income, what tricks have you found effective for building a solid pantry without breaking the bank?

I've been focusing on staples like beans, rice, and oats, watching for sales and using store loyalty points, but I’m always looking for new ideas. I try to rotate my stock and look for foods with a long shelf life, but sometimes I worry about variety and nutrition. Does anyone have recommendations for affordable (and not too bland) additions, or specific brands that store well but don’t cost a fortune?

Also, do you folks find that warehouse clubs or dollar stores really offer better deals, or do you do better with couponing at regular supermarkets? Would love to hear how others
