Been thinking a lot about off-grid water purification lately. Beyond boiling, what methods have you all found most reliable without electricity? I’ve had mixed results with homemade charcoal filters—sometimes tastes off. Solar stills seem time-consuming, but maybe I’m missing a trick. Anyone have tips for effective gravity filtration or chemical treatments that work consistently in the field? Always looking to add another method to the backup plan.
