Glass containers are great for water if you can store them somewhere safe from breakage—I use them for small batches, but they’re heavy and can be awkward in bulk. Stainless steel is sturdy and doesn’t leach, but a lot pricier for big volumes. I know some folks swear by UV treatment for initial purification, but you’d still need to ensure lids stay sealed and light stays out during storage. Ever tried rotating your water every few months, GarnetDusk? I’ve found that’s helped me avoid any odd tastes or issues.
