A for the win! That “3 hours without shelter in extreme conditions” bit always sticks with me—cold can zap you faster than an empty stomach for sure. I do carry at least 3 ways to start fire though, just in case the universe decides to throw extra curveballs! Anyone ever tried making a shelter out of just a tarp and duct tape? I swear, mine looked more like a wind
