Storing water for more than a year has me a bit concerned, especially with taste and safety. I’ve used food-grade barrels, added a few drops of unscented bleach per gallon, and kept them in a cool, dark spot. But is that enough for true long-term storage? How often do you folks rotate your water, and has

Rotating every 6-12 months works for me, and I always check for any odd smells or cloudiness first. Have you ever tried water preserver concentrates instead of bleach?
