Does anyone have tried and true methods for keeping water safe long-term using just containers and natural means? I’ve heard about using glass carboys or stainless steel tanks, but concerned about algae or bacteria growth. Glass carboys in a cool, dark spot have worked for me, but I always rotate every six months just to be safe—container’s only half the battle, especially if you really want to avoid that funky taste or growth.
