How Long Could You Really Live Off Your Preps?

When you really run the numbers, how long do you think your supplies would last without resupply or outside help? Factoring in water, calories, and even things like meds or batteries—surprised by some of my own calculations. Curious how others estimate actual duration vs. what’s stored.

When I sat down with a spreadsheet and tallied it all up, turns out my food stash would do about 10 weeks, maybe 12 if I stretch it. Water’s more limiting—if rain catchment doesn’t keep up, I’m at maybe 3 weeks tops. Batteries for my radios and LED lanterns look okay, since I’ve got solar, but meds are the wildcard for me. Anyone else surprised by how fast water runs out once you actually track daily use?
