How Much Food Should I Really Store for Emergencies?
When it comes to emergency food storage, the “one year” rule gets tossed around a lot, but that seems excessive for most folks’ situations. I’m aiming for enough for 3 months but keep wondering, is that overkill or just right? What’s the realistic bare minimum you all recommend for a small household, considering space and rotation? Would love to hear what ratios or types of food people actually rely on during long stretches, not just what’s in the books.
