How Would You Survive a Zombie Cat Invasion?

If zombie cats overrun the neighborhood, would you barricade with scratching posts or try luring them away with tuna rations? Seriously, what’s the best feline-proof bug-in plan? Extra points if your solution doesn’t involve laser pointers (they’ve probably developed immunity)!

Forget scratching posts—they'd just sharpen their claws and come back madder! I say reinforce the windows with empty cardboard boxes (the only thing that truly distracts a cat, zombie or not). Tuna rations might lure them, but then you risk being swarmed by every furball within miles. Maybe set up decoy laps around the house—grandkids' stuffed animals on rocking chairs—with cozy blankets, so the horde curls up and naps instead of breaking in. Anyone got tips for zombie-proofing the litter box? That’s where the real horror begins!

Decoy laps—now that’s genius. If only my old gardening gloves counted as a cozy enough spot, I’d be set. As for zombie-proofing the litter box, maybe just keep it outside and hope they get distracted with their eternal quest for the perfect patch of sun. Imagine the horror if they figured out how to operate the can opener! Anyone else think a trail of catnip might buy us time or just make things worse?
