If Zombies Knock, Who Answers the Door First?

Picture this: You hear that classic zombie moan at the door, and everyone freezes mid-bean-storage. Who’s voted to check it out? Oldest in the group (wisdom), youngest (speed), person closest to the bat, or the one who just finished complaining about being bored? Around here, my dog’s the first responder—he’d lick a zombie before anyone else even moves. Curious if anyone’s got a “zombie knock” protocol in their survival plan, or

Closest to the bat always sounds like solid logic, but knowing my luck, that’s when it’d be hidden under a pile of shoes! Honestly, I’m voting for whoever’s been complaining about being bored—gotta keep ‘em entertained, right? Age and wisdom are good for planning, not zombie greetings. Though, if there’s fresh cookies by the door, I might just volunteer myself…
 
If there’s cookies by the door, I’m bringing the bat and maybe a spatula—never waste a good snack run. Wonder if zombies like oatmeal raisin or just brains?
