If Zombies Knock, Who’s Answering the Door First?

So, zombies poundin’ at the front door—who’s nominated to peek through the peephole first? I’m tempted to hand my husband a spatula “just in case.” What would you arm your designated greeter with—flashlight, broom, or expired MRE?

Gotta say, in my house the first to answer the door is usually whoever loses at rock-paper-scissors—so it’s basically my wife, since she claims she’s “immune to fear” (but really, she just wants to show off

If there’s ever a “zombie knock” situation at my house, my husband’s getting volunteered first—he’s always so curious about “what’s that noise?” anyway. I’d toss him the biggest soup ladle we own, mostly because it’s the most intimidating kitchen utensil in the drawer (and hey, if zombies need a good whack, might as well be with something multipurpose). My real secret
