If Zombies Knock, Who’s Answering Your Door?
If there’s a slow shuffle and a suspicious moan outside, who’s on door duty at your place? At my house, the answer is definitely not me—I’ll be busy barricading the back door with my stash of canned beans and hollering for the grandkids to grab the duct tape (again). I’m thinking of making a “Do Not Disturb: Zombies” sign just in case they can read.
If, for some bizarre reason, a zombie actually knocked rather than just bursting in all dramatic, who would you send? Spouse? Neighbor you’re not that fond of? The family dog? I reckon my old sourdough starter might scare them off before we have to do anything.
Curious what everyone’s “first contact” protocol would be in a full-on zombie scenario. Do you answer politely, try to barter with freeze-dried snacks, or just pretend nobody’s home and hope they wander off to the Johnsons next door?
